mad stormage here in melbourne today. it made for a fun game of Hot Box but it also knocked out the power here at the ol' image server farm. things should be back to normal shortly.

update: Even though I'll miss the picture of Sulu the need for this thread has somewhat decreased due to the addition of the "image server status" thingie on the left sidebar there. I guess I'll still use this thread to explain why something may have gone wrong.. anyway there you have it.
if it wasn't obvious that status image will change automagically when the server goes down.. so i dont have to actually do anything to change it. laziness working for YOU!

well it doesn't time out now but i just get a blank page and the file isn't uploaded when i try now

hmmm my only suggestion would be to click on the "upload a picture" link and then once that loads hit F5 to refresh the page. perhaps your cached version is still trying to send it to the old IP. i'll try to upload a picture from work today but it's working fine from my lappy here.

are there IE7 issues with the uploading? seems that was causing my problem cause firefox works fine

to be honest i haven't done IE compatibility testing since maybe club409 version 3.0 beta so I have no idea if there are any uploading problems.
I think i installed IE7 on my windows desktop so i guess i should get back into the habit of testing stuff on there.
