Been waiting on this one! Ive only seen episodes 1-3 once each but I've watched the "what ifs" like 3 times each. So hoping that I go into TFA beleiving that this was the real storyline ;)

That's what I've done too I saw episode 3 once on ppv while I was sick in a hotel room watched that vid twice already

wheel of time is going to be a tv show according to harriet mcdougal (author's widow/editor/estate manager), no details at all as of right now, i want to be hopeful this actually happens and it doesn't suck, like if it was some low budget cable series i'd probably have some heartache, but if some people are willing to pony up some GoT type money and do some smart edits, man that'd fondle me in all the right places, also hoping it gets done so i'll have an excuse for a re-read

I have a bunch of audiobooks now including the GOT series. Roy d'ohtreve is awesome with the voices. Lemme know if someone wants a loner.

I have to spend like 3 audible credits, quick recommend stuff!
I might get the Malazan stuff, tried to read it but false started,
also the wheel of time news from earlier made me start reading it again, looks like reading WoT is going to be a once per decade thing for me

One of my coworkers recently recommended the Malazan series. He apparently reads like 60-120 books a year, so I'm assuming he has pretty good insight. XD
Now that I'm on a new project and guaranteed to be travelling for a while, I'm going to resume the WoT series too. I can't remember if I finished the 2nd book or not, but I have a book mark in chapter 25, so I guess I'll start there.

thanks to your audible tip i got a few freebies. one of them i'm "reading" is American Gods which has a TV series in the works. so far, so good
