Steve what do you think?
This seems like magnetic inductance at first glance. Know anything about
evanescent waves? Sounds legit. cooool :D

I know very little about evanescent waves although I know they are used in fusion reactors. You basically have huge antennas launch EM waves into a plasma at appropriate frequencies to excite resonances which heat the plasma. This doesn't seem all that different it just requires a little more finesse when you want to do something other than just heat a region. Oh yeah and not fry any people that happen to be in the area. Overall I think it's quite plausible.
