Fasting + getting sick + working crazy hours = no workout for me. Luckily I'm feeling better and Ramadan is finally over so hopefully I'll be able to get back into my routine. I ran a mile to get a sense of how much ground I lost.9/20/09: 1 mile: 7:28 (w/1min warmup + cooldown)

that's really good arif esp considering ramadan. once you're able to eat during the day im sure your time will go right back down. I need a track nearby to time myself... anyone want to come build one for me?

I built one for myself using google maps. :) Although i'm not sure how much street detail they have available for France.

usatf.org has a good route-mapping thingy but i think it's only set up for the US. you can download google earth. you can map anything on google earth it doesn't have to be on roads.

livestrong has a pretty awesome workout site. I used their map to make my running loops. It's powered by google but for some reason worked way better for me that googlemaps. Anyway I now know my 5mile loop 6mile loop and 3 different places where I can do a mile loop :)

alright everybody congrats to v!vstime.bmp7th in her age group out of 91 and 281 overall out of 2500 PLUS she qualified for the world championship marathon the Boston marathon!!! all this with virtually no marathon-specific training. OMGoh cool and if you look at the splits she passed two people in her age group after 6 miles
