After our good times with guitar hero i decided to try out Frets on Fire. It was pretty fun and it's pretty well polished. It only comes with three songs with the idea that you can import them from all over (or even make your own!).

Hey guys
I talked with my friend last night about the August dork fest. He said he's booked a conference room at a Renaissance Hotel in Marietta (supposed to be a pretty nice one) for Sat. night August 18. Unfortunately the room's only for Sat so we'd have to move the parteh elsewhere if we want to keep it going. I might head down there Fri since I'm off that day so if you guys are thinking about getting an early start and you have room for an extra dork (or 3) just lemme know. :) I'll keep you guys posted w/ the details.
Arif - Glad you fixed your compy! :o) Can't wait to see who wins round 2 of our UT/JK2 encounters lol. I have a feeling it won't be as easy to get that 4-0 comeback this time... ;) Justin might be in for a MK surprise too... we'll see. ;o)

How many people are showing up so far & how much is the room rental going to cost? And will we be playing Sousaphone Hero?

Seems like there will be 9-14 people there (not including you guys) most of which I haven't met yet. I really have no idea how much he paid for the room but I know he's asking for $20 to help cover the cost. There's a bar where we're setting up so I'm sure it would be well worth the cost... Assuming we take advantage of the bar... And assuming the alcohol's free (I *think* it's included w/ the room but I forgot to ask =X).

Well i know I'm out.. but it sounds like a pretty sweet deal. I would be surprised if the bar ended up being free unless that $20 per person is not splitting it evenly.
