Club409 - LAN Parteh Anyone?

Hey guys! You probably don't remember me but Justin introduced me to the site a looong time ago and I posted once about a possible LAN party (I think my shatty compy died on me around the same time so I haven't been on in a while =/). I'd actually like to set one up soon if you guys are interested. I was thinking around early to mid July but just about any time this summer is good for me. I don't mind hosting one at my apt. in Aiken SC but depending on how many people we have we might have to scale it up a little... Like LAN parteh BEACH STYLE! :o) What do you guys think? Anyone interested? :)

PS - Ummm apparently I'm retarted and accidentally clicked the "Post Shout" button without actually having any text in there. =X I'd delete it but there's nothing to click on to delete lol... Sorry guys. :)

if you cats felt like a lan party beachside you're more than welcome to bring the noise (as well as the funk) down hurr. that would be a bit extreme but then again that's how we do.

I'm down with a party/DG weekend (need to sharpen what nonexistent DG skillz I have). Evans would be great for me since I live close by but I don't mind driving somewhere further either...

What games do you guys usually play? Any Counter Strike Unreal Tourney Quake Halo Smash Bros Guitar Hero?

We've got a pretty good counter-strike: source presence. I've got some *ahem* back-up copies of unreal 2003 that worked pretty well at our previous lan parteh. Also on tap were medal of honor some quake 3 thing C&C generals and spaceopoly. I still want to whoop up on everyone on some jedi knight 2. None of us has an xbox so we're not very proficient with it. We're alright with it though. I tried guitar hero at the gamestop and I failed alice in chains "them bones" so I went home and learned the actual song on actual guitar but it still felt like a failure so I'm not a big fan. If it happens here in evans someone should bring a Wii and maybe even the N64 for some mario kart and golden eye.

I can take care of the N64 completely and the wii partially we would need 2 more wiimotes and some extra party games for the wii though. The only 2-player games I have are wii play and the wii sports and the lame games that come with sonic.

I've also got Company of Heroes (damned fun if you haven't played) and C&C3 which is meh.

I can cover everything for the Wii: 4 controllers and nun-chucks excite truck rayman ravin rabbids monkey balls bust a move (crap) dbz sports play and I may buy mario party or wario ware before this goes down. I've been playin a lot of CS lately so I'm down. I'd love to play some G(enerals) maybe a little CoH. I'm pretty much down for this regardless of where it's happening.
