TToW for Moneyball this week? eh?

I'm down

Moneyball: You're gonna go into this with some patience. It's pretty slow and won't really appeal to the ADHD crowd. But it does what a good sports movie does: make it about not sports. You really start cheering for the guys who are trying to use stats and empiricism over superstition and guesswork. I think it should be accessible to non baseball enthusaists. A fair number of genuine laughs throughout nothing gimmicky. 3.5 out of 5 magical spreadsheets.

According to wikipedia Peter Brand is actually Peter DePodesta who went to Harvard not Yale and is in fact skinny not fat.  Apparently he didn't want his name or likeness to be used in the movie which is ironic because the new Johah Hill looks eerily like the picture of DePodesta in on the wikipage haha.  

Btw I think Jonah lost his shed weight in awkwardness and gained as much in creepiness.  I like him a lot but I can't imagine he'll be cast for the same types of roles now.  

Moneyball is paced much like a defensive baseball game.  It's rather slow and has it's moments of excitement.  3/5 baseballs to the groin.  (3.5/5 if that actually happened in the movie). :O  

down.  maybe i'll get TWO tankers!  omg I don't think I can do it but I will try!  Needless to say I will not be driving home. :D  We can take my car just in case. :O
