I only got 5th in my heat. So don't go thinking I'm awesome. Drew I saw a couple of girls who actually DID run the mile in about 4.5 minutes.

I imagined myself running a mile. I had to stop to tie my shoelaces after about 10 paces and my left quad started to cramp up after the first minute. Then the jagged fangs of perpetual inactivity began tearing into sides and I could feel the fat from the Big Mac I had for lunch ooze through my veins. I stopped and rested my hands on my knees when Shawn drove by and asked if I wanted a ride back to the apartment. I imagined myself trying to finish the last three-fourths of the mile and decided to preempt the agony of defeat by accepting the ride. I came home and played Team Fortress 2 for a few hours before I had to pack for my trip to DC.

i'm really looking forward to everyone graduating from med school so when i come by and ask you to cut something off or whatever and you do it i can be like "YOU ARE A GREAT DOCTOR AAHHAHHAAA CRY SOME MORE!"

So apparently this is the year of the rat in the Chinese calendar. Hamster sales have skyrocketed and all the pet stores are selling out of them.
