So here is my problem. I have a .wmv file that is about 6 minutes long of a road. I would like to
1) add a clock at the bottom of the screen
2) take screen snapshots at a predetermined rate (say every 5 seconds)

Does anyone know of any software that can accomplish this?

drew dont ever become the police chief who "gives" details of a tragedy like today. i think the job title entails looking stupid and being a tool. i think the whole situation was handled wrong. i see a big lawsuit coming vt's way. it sounds like the cops waited till the gunman committed suicide before entering. and i think the only requirement to become a campus police officer is to be able to run 50 yrds in 15 mins.

that's not what he said. he said the doors were barricaded and they broke in while the shootings were going on but by the time they reached the gunman he had already shot himself. and he wouldn't look like a tool if the reporters weren't asking retarded questions. i don't think they did anything wrong but people are stupid and will sue for any reason at all. i can't believe people expected them to completely shut down the campus.

I agree with you Mike not news or notable. But I didn't take the time to find the proper thread. And I agree with you Rachel. I watched about .5 hour of the news conference and one reporter asked why they had not arrested the person of interest which the reply was "If we had arrested him he wouldn't be a person of interest". Also I think that it is hard to judge the actions of the police this early on.

I didn't watch much of the coverage so I didn't see the police chief. The only thing I've noticed so far that might be questionable was the lack of notice to the campus about the first shooting. From all other accounts it seems the police went in right when they got to the second scene.

"why's he a person of interest?"

"he knows one of the victims" :tard:

You dont think they shouldve shut down the classes?? 2 people were shot they have no clue where the gunman is. in any definition that is a shooter who is considered armed and extremely dangerous. and as far as the reporters go in the news conference i watched (the first one) the police chief stumbled all over himself. the reporters werent asking stupid questions they were nailing him b/c he contradicted himself and then went with the "i dont knows" response. at that time there wasnt the "person of interest." it was on the order of "the gunman killed himself and we are not looking for anyone else." reporter: does that mean the shootings were connected. his response "we dont know that right now." reporter: but you arent looking for anyone else so you do think they are connected?" po: "umm we are currently investigating..blah..i dont know." and you are right about the police entering according to what they are saying now.
