This was a great way to be welcomed at my new job.  We've had no internet access at the lab all week (and might not for several more) and had no external email for several days.  There were supposedly representatives from the NSA and FBI as well as Microsoft execs at the lab attempting to deal with this.

I remember buying a book back in high school called something like "how to hack" and having dreams of breaking in to places with advanced code but most of the book was about how to trick people into giving you their passwords. Both my dream and my romantic view of hackers died that day.

Adobe Creative Suite for Linux(?)

So it's not like they're actually developing it yet but they might. In the list of killer applications that people *need* and thus cannot ditch Windows (or Mac) without Photoshop is probably number 1 or 2.

PayPal customers on Android will soon be able to deposit checks using their phone's camera. If only it weren't PayPal.. oh well at least i can xfer money from PP to my bank using the internet. Multi-step multi-day process but at least I dont have to go anywhere :)
