This is all a bunch of bull. I can't stand Americans. Im about () this close and about $10000 short of moving to Tokyo Japan. We should all be ashamed of ourselves. We are acting just like those people over in Iraq. Americans are supposed to be who everyone else in the world wants to be like. How stupid do we look now?

Rachel's number of posts...now + 1. It makes me sad. Jake and I know what it feels like to not have anything. But not being able to get away from it that's the bad part...hurry up feds! And where's all the news stories about all the other places getting hit so hard?

For real. When is the last time Japan was in any kind of civil war where people were shooting at rescuers? When is the last time that Japan was in the news for more than one day when one of those 100.983 earthwuakes hit? (obiously i know that 100.983 is a false reading for a quake) When they have a quake it's like a matter of hours before it's back to normal... All I have to say is WTF america. WTF. and I agree Racism in a time like this is dispicable. Just gross. Those damn NOOBS that work in the media.

It's not just the bloggers. The refugees in the Baton Rouge shelters were kind of pissed about this and about Baton Rouge's mayor referring to them as "thugs" in the Advocate (local newspaper for you nonlocals).
By my calculations the people in the shelters in Baton Rouge aren't the ones looting in New Orleans. But what do I know?
It's not just the bloggers. The refugees in the Baton Rouge shelters were kind of pissed about this and about Baton Rouge's mayor referring to them as "thugs" in the Advocate (local newspaper for you nonlocals).

He was misquoted and went to the River Center to personally explain the confusion.
as for the finding vs looting "racism"...
to start yahoo just publishes those stories directly from the AP wire so if anyone's responsible it's the AP not yahoo.
b) the AP got those from multiple sources and each source writes their own captions for their pictures and different people will have different writing styles and terms.
