Has anyone played “That is Not a Hat”? It’s a simple little card game that relies on memory and bluffing. Michael and I decided it might be the most “Rachel wins” game there is.

It relies on every player remembering basically 1 or 2 cards at a time. And if everyone did, it would be a pretty boring game. But it’s shocking how easy it is to forget what card you have. And when you do you just have to bluff. Kids can play because it doesn’t require any reading or complex rules. Bertie cried the other day bc she forgot her card. 😬

We haven't played it either, but we'll have to try too. Maybe you an bring it over one of these weekends...Got any plans for this holiday weekend?
Anyhow, charades is our go to family game. We have a kids version that has 3 words or phrases, but the first one has a picture, so Mylo just does that one.
Another one we enjoy is Adopt Me! It seems like there's a lot going on at first, but it's simple enough that Mylo can play along too. He needs more help for sure, but he still has fun with it. On your turn you get 5 action cards which can be used to move around the board, buy items or task cards, or purchase an egg that has your mystery animal. To complete tasks you have to go to different destinations around the board and have the necessary item (if one is required). Once you complete 5 tasks, you hatch your egg and win the game!
