I was having trouble with my pointing stick (the mouse pointer in the middle of laptop keyboards) moving my cursor by mistaking key clicks for stick clicks. I just disabled it since I never use it but while I was looking for a work around I found this tool that disables your touchpad while you're typing. It works pretty well although my touchpad is positions so that I never hit it while typing anyways. If anyone uses the pointing stick or hit their touchpad accidentily while typing then this touchpad freeze might help.
Also I find the following gmail labs to be pretty useful:
Not sure how new these are but they are new to me. :) Go to gmail settings and click the labs tab to see all the gmail labs available. Another nice feature is the gchat desktop notifications (gmail settings -> general). Although I have a feeling this one might backfire on me because someone will send me an inappropriate message while I'm showing something to a client. Hopefully this will encourage you guys to send me more inappropriate messages! :)
edit: chrome apparently doesn't like the unordered list styling (list items aren't indented so the bullets are floating under my avatar). boo :(
i believe the UL problem stems from the stylesheet that 409 employs
