You should create a google spreadsheet and then when it's time to turn it in save it as an excel file.

While it's on your google docs you can share it with other gmail users and they can all be online editing it together.

Barb wants to set up a website for her budding counseling career wanted a domain name/hosting/template service that's cheap and she wants to integrate WordPress I gotta figure out what that's all about but anyone got any suggestions for which company is good?

A wordpress site sounds like what she would want. It's easy to set up and she can edit it very easily. Looks like http://www.bluehost.com/wordpress has a pretty attractive pricing plan at 1.95/month but you will also need to purchase the domain $10/year. Wordpress has a bunch of free themes that you can easily import to style the site to your liking.

I have used squarespace before in the past to good results. It's a little more pricer but I've found it to be "prettier" with a more professional look.

My 0.02. Matt's the authority on all this.

What kind of counseling is she doing?

Shawn I'll check that one if we don't set up the one Mike is talking about and I think it should allow input from 409ers for treatment plans and such

yah so depending on how much traffic it'll get we can just host it on my account with Dreamhost. they make it easy to use WordPress (never actually tried it but they have a pretty good rep overall so i believe it). lemme know we can talk details

Not expecting much traffic so we could prob use your hosting still would have to get the domain name elsewhere though right?

Correct. You can buy it through Dreamhost (again i've had nothing but excellent svc from them) or any other registrar. you'd just have to configure the nameservers to point to DH I believe.

Or I could buy it for you on my account but I'll leave that up to you.

i'm gonna have to review these options probably she's going to want to go with all-in-one solution from some company so i'll be leaning that way i mean if i were making a website i'd write some html and find some hosting an a domain name it was good enough for me in 8th grade it's good enough for me now

shawn you asked what counseling she's doing she hasn't decided yet she's still got a few more classes then an internship might lean towards some military personnel/veteran stuff since she has the background though not sure
