Specifically I am leaving town this afternoon to go back home to Arkansas. Saturday at 11 am I will have my very first medical school interview at the one school I really have a chance to get in (UAMS). So. This is it folks. I'll probably be shaking so bad that I'll shit out all of my organs during the interview. Nice knowing you. Please send cookies to the fam. Farewell.

Just remember to kiss ass act like you have a "personality" and pretend that you actually 'care' about patients (make sure to throw out the word empathy not sympathy) dont mention money and that you believe physician-assisted suicide is a fantastic idea oh yeah make up fictitious people that demonstrate your drive for medicine. It worked for me.

I thought you'd remember. Just for posterity.
At Georgia Tech I continually interact with my close friend’s mother Cindy. She too had breast cancer but unlike my mother she has constant pain and discomfort from the swelling of her left arm due to lymphedema. For weeks at a time she is seriously hindered by the pain and repeatedly reminds me that she “will pay me to just go ahead and cut [her] left arm off.†Continually witnessing her ordeals coupled with my own mother’s cancer I realized that my true passion was medicine.
Copied straight from my personal statement. Glad they dont wait like a month and ask how's Cindy... "Cindy who?"

you sick dog. I'm going to write about you in my statement. "I'm not really sure he knows what a 'moral boundary' is. And that's when i realized i wanted to be a medical malpractice lawyer" ;-)

I'm basically down to cleaning up my "activities" and writing my "essays." Then it's on to getting my letters of rec in.

Oh yeah I forgot make sure to get your letters of rec in late. also apparently it's a bonus if you dont complete the full application on time either. umm and dont get all the required immunizations. and mike no morals is a definite plus. I think that is all.
You do know if you make it your life is over. You should be prepared to study 4-5 hours a day all the time over the weekend and then 10-12 hours a day the week before a test just to keep up. Just a warning. Because you know what they say med school is like unprotected sex you are happy you got in but unhappy that you came.
