Happy X-wanzakkah 2012! Wife and I had a couple days in Augusta nothing too crazy. We did go to some relatives and they did a white elephant gift exchange except to pick up a gift you had to win a game of bingo. There were definitely winners and losers in that set up.
This year I got: Taylor 310ce guitar (combo marriage/graduation/birthday/Christmas gift) a Nike driver (it has ninja stars drawn on the shaft) X-Wing board game (check the game night thread) misc clothes a watch star trek of catan board game a COWBOY BEBOP T-shirt (pretty badass not gonna lie) eggies (love boiled eggs but hate peeling them?) misc candy and snot rags pretty serious haul

oh yeah TMNT pint glasses and a tree trunk that someone rando carved into the face of an old bearded man with a chainsaw (the carving was done with the chainsaw)
between my TMNT pint glasses spider-man pint glasses and TMNT shot glasses i'm planning on having them in my future mancave but they're hand wash only so they will only be used for very special mancasions
So some rando took an old bearded man's face and into it carved a tree trunk? How realistic was the tree trunk?
Also ninja stars on the shaft? Sounds like a spectacular tattoo idea.
Everybody at the grab-a-snatch party got to see / sit on our early Christmas present which was the loveseat in the sunroom. On Christmas proper I got some Ray-Bans (these will last at least a year I can feel it) a set of crystal highball glasses and a matching whiskey decanter (drankin' like a boss) Mario Kart Wii (with steering wheel!) some clever t-shirts (including lumberjack santa punching out a polar bear a bar of soap taking a shower and getting soap in his eye and more!) some fuzzy slippers (fuzzy on the inside suede-y on the outside) a two-ball rolling bowling bag a gift certificate to Threadless and a plush green pig from angry birds (my loot from the Potter-Watkins Christmas Eve Gift Stealing Extravaganza). Also Rachel and I both got a set of differently sized paintings that fit together in different configurations for some wall covering decor.

I got a corelle dish set for my new home and some gift cards for sears and CPK. The CPK gift card is especially nice because I was flirting with the waitress a few nights before xmas so my brother-in-law's father bought it for so I'd have a reason to go back haha. :)
This year: arkham origins kingdoms of amalur reckoning* sleeping dogs and skyrim for 360 mage knight (see game night thread) crystal seeds tmnt boxers misc candy and we both got a mini fridge for downstairs (it's got a window so you can see the stash) lapu-lapu t-shirt (kill whitey! fight the power!) the once and future king novel (favorite novel)
how did everyone else make out?
