What about "Blue Saturn"? Or "Is Saturn Blue?" Or "Blue Ring of Saturn" ? Perhaps Saturn has more than one ring but maybe you're only referencing one that is blue? Eh? Surely Julie can't have any qualms about that. Or "A Ring of Saturn."
By the way is Saturn really blue?
edit: I really like "A Ring of Saturn" (plus "a" might get dropped in everyday conversion. e.g. "Dude did you hear the new Ring of Saturn cd?")

Since i'm referencing A Perfect Circle as an influence as well as bear their tattoo I'd say that's too close for comfort. Perhaps "One Blue Ring of Saturn" but i'm still in love with "Saturn Is Blue."
edit: if you doubt me as far as facts i dare you to google the name and i'll bet the first result is a page from nasa. and maybe i'm not talking about the color.

I agree with arif in that i like Ring of Saturn better. Following typical norms band names are generally objects. not a complete sentence/statement consisting of a subject and verb. Ring of Saturn just has a better ring to it naturally.

i like the idea that saturn is blue like monk and not necessarily blue like jeans.. perhaps you'll have to hear the first album to get any hints as to what the name is really talking about.

so
THIS is my lastest toy. i figured it make for an entertaining live performance as well as save me studio time when it comes to adding guitar layers. usb connector allows me to stream the sound directly to my computer and record it with audition.

so i found a
site with recordings from space. transmissions from space stations and satellites. i pretty much plan on using these throughout the album and with my new toy (above) i'll be able to sample them live.

I agree with arif A Ring of Saturn has a much better ring rythm and meter and I like the imagery of being one amongst the cosmic dust bands that are the rings of saturn.
