Is she using aluminum or copper pots? Cause induction need stainless steel or cast iron to perform the best. If they're aluminum or copper then they'll take forever due to the lower surface resistance and therefore lesser heat generated. Otherwise an induction cooktop should boil a quart of water in about 2 minutes.

Noted the only upside is that maybe a TV without 3D will be cheaper than one with 3D later this year when I'm looking to buy.
