exactly...the system works even if it makes me a jackass. i've yet to see a conference where the deadline hasn't been pushed back at least a couple weeks

I slacked off all day yesterday instead of preparing for a project interview I had today. I haven't had a serious interview for a project since i joined avanade so i was more anxious than that time i was waiting for the results of my whore test (which reminds me I need to call and find out if i have hep C). Anyways I rocked the interview! I'm not guaranteed to get the role but at least I did all I could do! w00t

procrastinative positive reinforcement ftw!

it's freaking 2011 and i'm starting an advanced degree orientation is friday and i have to finish running a simulated business for 8 years before then but then i remembered this thread and decided to read it it's really good i think we almost cracked the secret to the universe for a while but then we got distracted from it because most of us graduated and didn't have papers to do anymore so we didn't need distractions so we were then distracted from making profound but immediately irrelevant revalations i'm hopeful over the next 5 semesters i should be able to keep us moving forward anybody got any good wikimendations?

That's the spirit!  What is your company doing?  I had one simulated company in high school that we called "Pen Island."  It sold tropically-themed pens.

Did your pens have contoured tips?  I typically use just the tip so it's crucial that it contours for ease of grip. :D

I would appear I failed at the title of this thread since I submitted my first draft of my dissertation to my advisor this afternoon.  Pretty short as far as dissertations go at only 140 pages though that was largely encouraged by my advisor to save him time.  My dissertation defense is on March 15 and in May I'll be a doctor.
