Since the threads can have multiple pages can we have a small row of the pages underneath the title of the thread on the main page so we can skip to the end?

I think that the threads are encouraging people to post more. There seems to be much more activity. We definitely done brought this international.

I woke up this morning with two ideas that shouldn't be too difficult.
1) a newest | oldest sort link at the top of each thread so you could easily see the most recent post
2) a hyperlink on each username to view a list of just that user's posts (this could just be an extension of the extended profiles)

1) I'll do you one better.. I'll make a preferences page and for the first preference setting: ordering of posts within threads. the "preferences" will probably just go under "edit your account" as will the extended profile information.
2) yeah that sounds like a good item to include.. not sure exactly how i'll do every post for a user.. maybe do the top 10 (ordered by the vague ranking system you talked about before) and then have a link to a section that paginates the rest of their posts ordered by date.

I think that a user should also be able to quickly change the order without having to go into their preferences if they just want to reverse the order for one thread.
