how about allowing uploads of files other than images? say mp3s for teh music thread . . . for archiving purposes

or would that lead to overloading the bandwidth usage?

Good idear. As long as the files are uploaded to an area accessible to members only I don't think the bandwidth would be an issue.

No promises on not breaking it in the future but I've added an RSS feed that you can drop in google reader or whatever your favorite RSS aggregator is. Right now the xml file will contain the most recent post in the 5 most recently updated threads. so if the 5 most recent posts are all in one thread doesn't matter it'll only show the most recent posting in that thread followed by the next 4 most recently changed threads.. anyway it's a work in progress but I think i've got it all in there correctly. sadly this will break pretty easily if/when ever i get to upgrading to the new version of the site :)

well it would appear that my google reader is not updating with new posts.. poo. i'll see what i can do later.

it sends you to the first page of the thread listed as updated could you get it to go to the last?
