indeed i saw that i think it was some sort of apache business and like an idiot from a horror film i was like oh i guess it's nothing rather than telling anybody so we could address the situation as a group i guess i've learned nothing

i suspect they made a backup of the system and moved it to a new server.. while people were posting =[ so when they flipped the switch to the new server it went slightly back in time. boo.

fixed the images and emailed tech support. they basically responded with "yah crazy-go-nuts happened don't make any more changes to your account we're fixing it" so i dont know if that means they'll try to get the lost database entries (i.e. posts) back or what.. but for now i suggest we dont make any more posts unless you dont mind them potentially disappearing (temporarily?) =[

One idea that I have had recently.
Have a box on the right which shows a few of the most current posts and the thread title. This way you can glimpse at what was just posted without having to go into the thread. I am not sure how this would look but you get the idea.
Also since we can host adult content we need to start recruiting talent (to beat you to the joke Drew my mom is already under contract at Kara's)

this is a byproduct of moving to the new hosting.. the old host happened to be in the eastern time zone so i didnt have to worry about times.. but the new server is located in the central time zone. you can read more about it in that thread.

Just updated the list of goodies on the first page of this thread. I'm implementing club409 v4 in a php framework called "kohana" and it's pretty dang sweet. keeps my code organized and manageable has MVC and all that.

It's not finished but here's a preview of version 4. I realize there's some layout issues with the header / login form.. i'm going to be replacing the chrome logo with something else and the bubb rubb icon will be one of a number of rotating images.
NOTE: The posts are not paginated so it dumps out the entire thread on one page. I strongly dis-recommend going to the Random Videos thread because loading up all those embedded youtube's is a bitch on your browser.

Also it's running on a copy of the database so you won't see the latest posts.
If you wanna see the reference rendering open it with Firefox 2.x on Windows XP 32-bit SP2.. If you can do that and then check it in whatever other browser / operating system / CPU combinations and then make note of any discrepancies in the Version 4 thread it'd help me out making sure everything works everywhere.
