pro tip -- if you *really* want to make a new thread in a different forum figure out the forum ID (look at your address bar when you're viewing it) and then go to /thread/add/{forum ID} -- currently the make a new thread link defaults to /thread/add/2.edit: this pro tip is no longer useful since i made the link work for subforums

i never needed it before but now that i do it's not available. it'd be nice to clear out some of my unwanted avatars.

whenever i click on a thread it automatically jumps to the middle of the page and then i have to scroll around to figure out where the new stuff on the page is. it's annoying.

i think it takes you to the part of the thread you haven't been to yet. i actually enjoy that feature.

it doesnt for me. just now matt's "eye-stabbingly red" comment was the first one on the screen but scott's was obviously the first one that i hadn't read yet. so i had to scroll down aways to see what i hadn't read.edit: and after I post it jumps back to that same spot on the page.

The avatar url has a cache expiration time of 24 hours. If you hit f5 on any thread page it should explicitly reload the img.
