so it turns out ants like to climb into my (mike's) backpack when i leave it close to the door.. which would be ok except that i keep my laptop in it. so i've been crushing ants this morning many of them after they crawled out of my laptop. teh suck. i wonder if this is covered in the warranty :-P

So it turns out this ant thing goes much much deeper than I had originally thought. This morning our entire kitchen floor and the sink were covered in ants. So I killed them all with windex.
Then when I went back into the kitchen to clean them up I opened the dish washer only to find it CHOCK FULL OF ANTS.
There were more ants in our kitchen

I can get behind you with the ant thing. Remember that summer when I left my backpack in the fan room for three months and when it came time for school it was FULL OF FIRE ANTS? Yeah that sucked.
I wish we could see that in this case the enemy of my enemy is my friend. We should be negotiating with the centipedes to eat all of your ants. Problem solved.

These ants are particulary frustrating because they are dumb. Usually ants will find something they want to eat and then go for it. The problem has a very direct solution. Our ants just wander around. For this reason I advocate not only insect genocide but insect eugenics as well.

so after a month and a half of working on our robotics project (and countless other classes in the previous semesters) i just found out that one of my two teammates was bill's classmate at chs :o
