I remember early in the development of this iteration of Club409 I had asked for the ability to ban Shawn for arbitrary amounts of time. Now I think everyone should have it.

although the comedic value of a "ban shawn" button on the main page would be quite high I fear its potential for abuse outweighs its potential for poop-stain-causing hilarity.

I think we should have a "vote" feature that could enable "ban" of anymember that people chose. Then banning shawn would be ok cause then other people could be banned and Matt could have the ability with all his majesty and ban whoever whenever and remove ban whenever.

We could make the "ban" function like censuring in ancient Rome. If enough people in the Senate voted to censure you or your family you would be expected to commit ritual suicide. Like a ninja. Which would be totally sweet... Roman ninjas.
