We've had access to build 7077 since 4/13 and I believe the RC you mentioned is 7082 so it's probably pretty stable. I dl'ed the ISO yesterday and plan to setup my desktop this weekend. w00t!

I wasn't aware of the new Media Sharing capabilities of Windows 7. I'll have to check it out when / if--work has been a bitch lately got home at 1:30am this morning--I get home tonight. Too bad all my music was on my WD 250GB HD that had a DDO Layer on it that I removed when trying to get it to work on Windows 7 and incidently is no longer readable. :'( WD says it' s a limitation of my MoBo but i've updated my BIOS and tried a controller card that claims it allows you to access IDE drives larger than 137 GB but it didn't work. That drive had all my music the only copies of a lot of pictures/vids all my latest Simpsons game code (latest backup I have on cd is probably from 6 years ago) and my meticulously pruned collection of midget horse porn. So I haven't come to terms with the fact that I might lose all that data especially since the WD tools that allow you to copy partitions can recognize the files on the drive; it the runs into errors that say "filename.mp3" couldn't be copied. Oh well.

well the hd thing happened when I upgraded to windows 7 which was some time in aug but I haven't had much good luck lately. sync'd up my library with my live id. Now i just need a remote computer with windows media player 12 to stream my musics. :O
