indeed the Erdos number. I'm soon to be a four (already am if you count conference papers) as well. who would you be try to establish a connection with in medicine?

wikipedia lists roughly 30 people with Erdos-Bacon numbers (sum of Erdos number and degrees separation to kevin bacon). notable inclusions: winnie from the wonder years natalie portman
