... ni. No srsly though I got my MRI today. It took about 20 minutes and they give you the option to listen to music while it happens. I foolishly chose the "70s Classic Rock" mix and instead of drifting away into a motionless numb existence I instead fought the constant urge to tap my foot and sway in the MRI machine while the Doobies rocked out to China Grove.

i went to the doctor for a checkup but mostly it was to tell him about my knee to see what he had to say. he moved it around a little bit and that didnt hurt.. so he said that he was going to go ahead and put me in for an MRI. he said if i had come in like the week after saying it hurt he woulda just prescribe some anti-inflammatory / pain killers but since it happened so long ago and it still hurts that something probably needs to be done.

When i was getting the MRI I aksed if i could get a soft copy of the results.. apparently it's a pretty common request because they were like "oh ya u want a CD? ok when will you come back for it?" So I was like sweet i'll come tomorrow.. but they forgot to make my CD so now I'll have to pick it up monday.
Anyway if you ever get images taken of your insides always make sure to get a copy of it because how cool is that. I'm guna be able to model my knee 8-)

I have pictures they took during my surgery of the insides of my knee. They're pretty gross.

so my doctor threw out his back so he went home for the day and my appointment was canceled. but just now they called me up to give me the results over the phone. The particular phraseology was "bone contusion" which is a doctory word for a bone bruise. They said there was no ligament damage and my menisci are all in tact (there's more than one?) but there was a significant amount of swelling.
They said it should go away by itself and if it doesn't I should call them as there are some things they can do like inject something into my knee (interwebs say cortisone?). So it looks like I'll just keep taking my super-extra-bonus-strength prescription anti-inflammatory pills and hope for the best.
