that tor thing worked! for websites. Can't do anything for Steam though since a port's a port. Plus it would probably provide some really shitty ping routing thru germany.

but if you get through med school without steam did you really accomplish anything at all?

well i gave in and dl'd css to my laptop so i could play on the wireless at mom's. that is a most definately no-go. apparently 2Gz core2duo is no match for source without the help of anything better than a Mobile Intel 945GM Express. Or a fan that's the size of a quarter. I could have fried eggs while lagging my ass around OBC last night @ 640x480 ;-) Oh well thwarted again by a god who wants me to pass my classes.
