Comcast in ATL decided to move TBS to a different channel and replace it with a similar channel WPCH. I don't really care except at midnight WPCH has an hour of Frasier which is currently the same setup that Lifetime (television for idiots) is providing. This is too much. I'm not playing Frasier roulette for the rest of my life. We've been talking about cutting out cable TV and I think this is the call to action.

I watched the new Terminator show which is great if you love terrible acting. But you get to watch River Tam kick poorly choreographed ass.

I was just watching Modern Marvels on the History Channel and they had a clip about carbide armor featuring Georgia Tech's very own Dr. Speyer! I think we need to stock him for the The Project. He can make us some badass yet light body armor and he can FLYING SIDE KICK any bastards that decide to resort to hand-to-hand.

The First 48 on A&E is the best crime show out there. Real or otherwise.
Also philosophical question: Could Dr. Speyer make an armor so strong even he couldn't wookie kick straight through it?

African American Lives on PBS is pretty cool. It traces some famous black peoples' ancestry to Africa or whatever. Tonight was African American Lives 2 (: The Africaning (not really)) which focused more on what the ancestry was up to right after emancipation. I think everyone needs to watch it.
