If the ball is tipped you can clock the receiver and it is not interference. About 1 second after this frame an auburn defender comes from the left and tips the ball away.
I think you'd have a better case in the replay from the link below (around 2:05). That should have been interference. Oh well the tigers can go to hell anyways. I'm glad the tigers won!!!

1) the interference started a good 3 seconds before the ball was tipped so the receiver could have conceivably made a play in front of the tipper had he not been dragged down
2) they didn't show it in that video but almost the exact same thing happened with the roles reversed except LSU intercepted the ball instead of tipping yet they still called pass interference. if a tipped ball is uncatchable and therefore no pass interference surely an intercepted ball is too.
3) that play was just icing on the cake anyway. that first scoring drive should've been a TD not a FG so it should've been at least 7-7 not 7-3. but the ref had too many dollar signs clouding his vision that he couldnt see the LSU receiver get absolutely raped in the endzone.

I mean it's football and the helmet was incedental as he was going for the numbers then pulled up at the last second so he wouldn't stick him out of bounds. Totally killed our momentum with one call. Well at least we pegged the ref! :-D
