So I got a call today from Mr. Rod Russell an investigator with the Secretary of State's office. He tells me that there are some anomalies pertaining to my EIT exam and that we would have to meet in person to discuss it further. I tried asking him if they had lost my scores or something but he said he couldn't tell me anything except that there's an open investigation. So I then called the Secretary of State's office to make sure that he was telling the truth and wasn't some creep that was trying to get me to meet him in person to abduct me. They said that he is in fact an investigator with the office but they couldn't tell me anything else about the investigation for security purposes. So I called the guy back and told him I'd be able to meet him so now I have to drive to Valdosta next Friday (a 5 hour drive) to talk in person with this cop about my EIT exam. And since I haven't worked long enough to get vacation hours to do this my boss is "loning" me vacation hours that I can give back later. Oh yeah the cop told me that if I declined to meet him in person that my test would be null and it would be as if I had never taken it. WTF?!? Any ideas on what the hell could have happened? Should I take a lawyer with me? He hasn't told me where we're going to meet yet if it's a bar or something I'm going to be pretty weirded out. I'm going to try to get Matt to go with me. I have no idea what's going on...

I don't have class on Friday so I might could be in a bar packing heat in Valdosta before you and investigator dude get there. When you do meet him say as little as possible. You shouldn't have to explain yourself since you didn't do anything wrong and I mean that as legal advice not snap fingers and wave hand back and forth advice. Did was Georgia Tech involved in any way with your test taking?

My guess is that someone you took the test with got the same kind of answers that you did.

This is an exam administered by the Secretary of State. Anyone can take it so Georgia Tech wasn't involved. However the proctor in my room for the exam was my advisor at Tech the lady that helped me get the creep fired for displaying my boobs on the class video feed. Whatever. You should totally show up Drew throw some legal jargon around.

I did some googling and I found that our Rod Russell is or at least was on the investigations unit of the Georgia State Board of Architects and Interior Designers. Are they the people that administered your EIT test?
