I actually can't really disagree with this lawsuit tho . . . Although I'd love to bash a few biggoted heads in I can't really justify not allowing them to project thier views openly on campus. tho i understand why GT doesn't want to support partisan organizations since they don't really allow full student-body participation and i dont want my dollars going towards something i dont support. whatever

The purpose of the lawsuit is only it's "funding part" where Ruth
and Orit assert they were denied funding after being categorized as
a "political group" while gtcow (a lgb group) was not.

I bet dollar for donut that they approached ADF wanting to file
a lawsuit just for that. ADF in turn chose a wiser strategy. It's
still a weak case but it sits on firmer grounds.

| ADF senior legal counsel David French says he finds it curious the
| American Civil Liberties Union has not weighed in on the matter
| given the group's penchant for voicing concern over the so-called
| separation of church and state.

The ACLU would most likely side with GT on this case and not to
mention that ADF (Alliance Defense Fund) was created as a direct
response to ACLU

...Actually now that I read the suit it's much weaker than
reported. On pg 9.24 they mention something about the monologues
but never reveal "what" the university requested they remove.

This lawsuit is going to fail it's to vague broad and it reads
more like a speech. They do have a case against the "Save Space
Training Manual" (see part 40) which is clearly a low quality
document but they fail to show how the "Safe Space" has caused
irreparable harm.
