So you're saying your code works if you unroll the loop but not if you leave it in a while()

pretty much. So instead of one small while. I had to copy and paste 10 lines of code...12 times.

the program is already turned in because it was due at midnight via online submission but I'd like to know why logic was against me last night.
I've read some documentation. Hell I even copy and pasted a while() that worked. It could've been my condition for the loop but I've used that condition before.
