congrats. multiple job offers are overrated if the first one is good. then again i'm not a fan of making decisions in general.

yes this is the one from florida.. and the first one is a good offer afaict. I'm pretty sure I'd be able to live comfortably in Melbourne. But i like to think that i have control over where i'm going.. like when I came to Tech I had a wide variety of schools and locales to choose from.
now if you'll excuse me i'm going to hax my linux box to the eXtreme while listening to a brilliant professor lecture about compiler-enhanced instruction-level parallelism in the background.

in other job related news i'm getting completely hosed in my summer position at oak ridge. i got my official offer and now they're telling me i'll only be making about half of what they originally told me i'm not too pleased.

then you have the perfect excuse to screw around for half of the day
