finally got around to checking this out definitely pretty sweet. resolution is highly region dependent and doesn't seem to have much on google but there are some awesome animations for various events (e.g. dozens of different overlays showing progress of whatever hurricane you're interested in). overall an enlightening waste of about 2 hours.

found this thread searching for google stuff because i was going to post Blackle.. Another good thing about WorldWind is that it's open source so you can code your own plugins fairly easily. or change something in your version of WorldWind if you dont like it (and then submit it so it goes in the next release!)

write an open seach xml so i can add it to my search bar on firefox. i'm tired of trying (after 3 minutes).

edit: nevermind i got it i just hadn't actually restarted firefox.

put this in blackle.xml in \program files\mozilla firefox\searchplugins (remove the br \n crap that pbody adds to my post.)
