District 9: It takes a minute to buy in to the atmosphere they're selling here. The first trailer presented it as slow and deliberate; it had music from Solaris playing. The next set of trailers showed the action so it takes a minute to get the feel. After that the story picks you up and slings you to a greatly satisfying ending. The movie is pretty vivid and wants to convey a sense of repulsiveness so it has that. It's nothing overwhelming but it's there. I'll say 4.5 out of 5 obvious HL2 mods.

just watched the trailer for "Law Abiding Citizen" as suggested by Brian.. looks like it's going to be very entertaining

Inglourious Basterds 10/10 Forehead SwastikasFor what in retrospect seems to be a very slow moving plot manages to keep one enthralled with the undertones and suspense. Great character for Pitt.
