it used to strip out slashes before presenting the user with the src for their post on the edit page.. i'm sure i did that for good reason before but i just took it out and nothing else seems broken so.. hopefully it's really Fixed now.

oh and you need double backslashes to use singlequotes within singlequotes (within double quotes) for javascript.

nah i was merely informing. now that this thread is thoroughly derailed by my web programming inadequacies let's pull it back on target.

who wants to see the latest terminator movie tonight @ 8:10 @ movie tavern?

Mike don't click this button until you've seen terminator. It really doesn't spoil anything about the movie but neither does revealing that benjamin button ages backwards--that's the premise of the movie...Anyways consider yourself forewarned.

yah but think of how cool it would have been if you DIDNT know he was aging backward. you'd be like wtf is up with that baby. also it would have been the only good thing about the movie.

anyone interested in buying midnight tickets for harry potter early at movie tavern? its next monday night/tuesday morning at 12:01 am. maybe theyd let you get away with tankard tuesday since the movie is technically on tuesday....

edit: never mind. it's sold-out. anyone for a wednesday showing? 7 pm?

for the record "tankard (or tanker as movie tavern would have you believe) tuesday" is a concept unique to the 409 movie tavern experience so they'll "let us get away with it" because they sell beer every night :)

edit: i suppose this definition of tanker might apply:
"A vessel designed for the carriage of liquid cargo in bulk."

i'm down for tanker tuesday if there's a good movie to watch. or if there's a movie that would make for a good drinking game--i drank my beer slowing during year one and I never felt drunk. :( how about public enemies at 7:30?
