Tragedy struck today when the US Navy took into custody a ship full of suspected pirates. Nautical pirates have become endagered do to the encroachment of man on their natural habitat. Piracy advocates fear that if our policies are not changed nautical pirates will disappear in the next fifty years.
Nautical pirates are closely related to computer pirates also in danger of extinction due to widespread regulation of their native environment.

Under specific environmental stresses i.e. overpopulation or a distant father figure pirates occasionally succomb to homosexuality

true story; my dad insulted a man's wife and children so said man took his eye. my dad spent the next few weeks in an eyepatch searching out the bastard thief (searching is a bit harder with limited depth perception). when he finally caught up with him in peru my dad took one of his eyes and one of his testes. he sewed the eye in place of his own and used the teste as an antenna ornament on his ford taurus.

We actually have a real pirate captain in our geneology according to mom. A famous female pirate. Don't remember who she was.
