Bout that time don't forget to spend your credits and cancel the subscription, but tell them it's too expensive first in case they want to give you more credits

also it appears there is now a sharing function, when i get a minute i'll prob make a google sheet so we can edit our libraries and have it all in one place for loaning

ok well not quite, reading up says the "send this book" feature allows you to send books to other users, and the other user's first book received by that feature is free, so guess it's a one off deal for everyone's profile

picked up dresden files book 1 and 2, tocqueville's democracy in america, and we are legion we are bob was #1 in sci-fi so i'll try it out

Dawn of Wonder: The Awakening - Synopsis is a Plucky Young Man has tragedy visited upon him but trains in an elite academy to be All That You Can Be. I got it on an Audible recommendation. The fantasy stuff is pretty sparse. Everything is almost realistic, very little supernatural whatevers. The problem I have with this book is that it sets aside its main conflict and tragedy as the main character trains and does side quests basically for the whole book. I mean I guess it's used to give some experiential story telling, but I was like man can we get the plot going please? And the main flaw/foil for the main character is very uninteresting. Also the explanation of day to day academy minutiae fills out a lot of the book. But I have to say for some portions of it, the author creates some great moments of "what's going to happen" or "what is the character going to do" situations. The first act is excellent. Nothing fancy, but just a trim and engaging scene with high stakes for the characters. I'll probably continue the series when the next one comes out, but I can't necessarily recommend it unless you're looking for a time occupier. But again, there's some scenes that just pull you in. I think a lot of people will compare this to Name of the Wind which I also listened to. I would recommend Dawn of Wonder. 3 out of 5 hatchet tosses

We are Legion, We are Bob - I imagine most 409ers would enjoy it. Very straightforward writing and story-telling which is good for audiobooks on commute. People say it's like Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy but I disagree. It's really not that funny and doesn't necessarily try to be. It just has a few mild laughs. The book doesn't really have an ending; more like just a break until the next one. Side note: I'm kinda amused when books with "humanist" protaganists or authors have these really pessimistic view of people as a whole. Anyways, 4 out of 5 bat shrines.

Some wheel of time tv show news today
http://thewertzone.blogspot.co.uk/2017/04/wheel-of-time-tv-series-picked-up-by.html?m=1

Sony tv is producing it and some no name is writing and screen developing it, no word on where or when it will air, budget, cast, or much of anything else, remember the initial report that a tv studio was booked to make the show was almost a year ago, so don't hold your breath
