So those of you who work from "home" etc... how do you go about organizing your lives/ getting anything done when you don't have defined work hours?

Mainly it's a function of "shit has to get done" so if I slack off then it doesn't get done we don't meet deadlines.  Sometimes I space out during the day though and work after hours to get it done.  It's stlil roughly 8 hours in the day just not 9-5.

If I know I need to be somewhere that evening then I just focus and get my stuff done by the time I need to leave unless I know I can do it tomorrow ha.

For open ended tasks like "go research something" it's a little more tricky.  Generally there's a deliverable or a test or something I'm working towards so it helps to have clear goals defined.

In a recent effort on Michael's part to avoid writing a big paper he cleaned the toilet.

I randomly remembered that time I decided 6 was my favorite number, and had to search for the ridiculous explanations for why it worked out that way.  I'm still not sure I fully understand it, but it was fun reading through it again.

Sometimes I wish we all had to write papers again so we could revive this thread, haha.
