Yeah I didn't buy anything today either. Actually I bought a waffle 2 eggs some bacon hashbrowns toast milk and coffee from WaHo. Does that count. If it doesn't then I'm with you. Fight the power.

I think you're safe drew.
The whole point is retail... black friday is the day if nothing else that marketing divisions use as a statistical benchmark for the coming year... Really as we are all consumers taking a vow of no commercial spending for a day when the lowest prices of the year are seen only on that day we are making a true sacrafice... as consumers.
As human beings it's an opportunity to think.
I wouldn't say it's been a failure but wal-mart posted higher than expected sales friday indicating that they are doing a great job of spurring the consumercentric holiday season.
