yeah -- finally found the right version of PHP to tell dreamhost to use.. but it's a stopgap because this version of PHP will be unavailable in the nearish future.

Time for a rewrite!

aaaand once again dreamhost upgraded PHP for me. I think this version is going away in ~January so I guess I better find some time to re-write some things.

Dell has installed not one but two self-signed root certificates on recent models. Go here and here to check if your PC is compromised (offer not valid for Firefox since it ignores the Windows certificate store).

that's what they get for not being on 409 10 years ago

also big FU to whoever set it up for copy/pasting files creating shortcuts whenever people attempt to do get files not sure what they're doing but i have to explain it a lot
