haha yeah my sister called me and told me about it. Apparently it was the Cartoon Network float! w00t! Maybe someone at Lisa's party works for Cartoon Network and therefore WE helped rick rolled the entire nation! lol :D
steve you're the resident expert on this can you explain/destroy that blacklight thing for me so i can get busy studying? ;-)
hmm they dope the nickel with NaOH and throw it in the water and it heats the water. maybe this has something to do with NaOH heating up when you throw it in water?

i actually don't have a reasonable explanation for the heating as of yet and i haven't seen one in my relatively small amount of searching. he seems to be more intelligent than most of the people who claim to have some sort of infinite/super cheap energy machine. and at least this one only violates the theory of quantum mechanics and not the basic laws of thermodynamics like they usually do. however i am willing to wager my livelihood that the actual reason for the heating isn't what that guy claims.
i might be more inclined to believe something he has to offer if he didn't claim to have found the grand unified theory yet be unable to produce a self-consistent paper describing the theory. do a google scholar search on 'hydrino power' and look at the article by rathke for a review of the original paper noting its mathematical blunders and logical errors. and apparently he's no longer responding to criticisms of his theory because 'it is no longer an academic argument' and they've moved on to practical considerations.
sorry i can't fully debunk his claims for you clearly you should continue to focus on this instead of studying
