ok cmon i know we're not all geniuses like you but if in what amounts to a small city of 25000 people a man and a woman get shot and then the killer runs off and disappears that right there says that somebody had a dispute and it got out of hand and it was settled with a gun. At least to dumb little ol me it doesnt say - oh jeez a mass murder has just started his rampage! You wouldn't shut down the whole city; you would be like crap that really sucked lets start figuring out who to punish for this. It looked like a relatively small-time murder in every respect and was responded to appropriately. I mean how many people have been shot near or even on Tech's campus? If they shut down GT after one of those people would be saying it was nuts. hell we didn't even cancel classes when they thought a bomb had gone off on campus.

unfortunately everyone cant be winners. there are a couple things that have to be questioned in my opinion. 1) witnesses said the gunman went room to room in the dormitory (does sound like he was looking for someone) but yet he killed 2 people he didnt know who came up to him to question him. that should change it from just a domestic dispute. 2) they thought it couldve been a murder-suicide if it took them 2 hours to figure out it wasnt a murder-suicide something is wrong (wheres the gun?). that sounds more like something you would say if you are making up excuses. I have no clue about people being shot on GT's campus. i have heard of robbed at gunpoint but even then we got emails almost immediately after the incident. not too many people are afraid of dry ice and 20 oz soda bottles if that is the bomb you are referring to. there was no sense of urgency at all from vt even people going to 10 o'clock classes had no clue. while you can argue about cancelling classes but giving no warning was just inexcusable at least to someone omniscient like me.

What South Korea doesn't seem to realize is that in America everyone is crazy. Also we hate foreigners (all of them) particularly those who don't look like us (e.g. non-white).
While the shooting might give us as Americans a quasi-valid motive for prejudice the fact is we were pre-prejudiced.

After an initial skimming of the air car site I'm leaning towards calling shennanigans. I'll check it more later. Also affecting the call is the Frenchness of it all.
