Tevan actually stepped up to the plate last night and put together 2 impressive drives in a pretty hostile environment.  It's unfortunate the 2nd one had to end on a mistake that very closely parallel's Nesbitt's.  After a few snaps he seemed to get into a rhythm so this additonal play time is definitely good for next year.

I just feel bad for Nesbitt who seemed invicible at times.  Oh well.  I wonder if he'll get picked up in the pros.  Not sure what position he'd play though since he's obviously not good enough for QB and I don't think he's well rounded enough for a RB.  Maybe a tightend?

it is a shame for nesbitt although at least he got a chance to set the all-time ACC rushing record for a quarterback.  i've heard some talk of him getting drafted as a safety -- he's about the right size and definitely has the athleticism.

I love how announcers talk about how we're now bowl eligible for the 14th season in a row but they never mention that we're 5-8 during which time we've lost to both LSU and Fresno State twice and are currently on a 5 bowl losing streak.  The last time we actually won a BCS bowl game was the 1955 Sugar bowl vs Pittsburgh.  Funtastic!

We're projected to play East Carolina in the Military Bowl or Airforce in the Independence bowl.  Who cares though it's our 14th in a row w00t!  Quantity over Quality ftw!

drew got me hooked on scott single-ply so i say quantity over quality in that as well!

also make sure you tune in to see arkansas at a real bowl game (HAHAHA SUCK IT TIGERS!!)

Also would it be good or bad if i went to knoxville? Steve i know you lived around there for a while did you like it? And if I became a vols fan would it be good cause they are enemies of my enemy (georgia) or not?

I lived/worked in Oak Ridge which is about half an hour outside of Knoxville.  I didn't spend very much time in Knoxville proper but from what I saw it seemed like a pretty solid city.  I think it's largely a college town but probably big enough that there's other stuff to do.  I'm hoping it's a decent place to live because I'll most likely be moving to the area in the next 6 months or so.

As for school allegiances I don't think the UGA-UT rivalry is strong enough to warrant becoming a UT fan on that account but I guess it can't hurt.

Anyone thinking of going to Shreveport?

I thought about it initially but I think I'm out for logistical reasons.  I'll be spending almost every day from the 22nd to the 26th driving to various family gatherings around Florida so I don't think I'll be up for another 18 hours in the car.  Also a plane ticket looks to be about $500 which is more than I want to spend on a low rate bowl game.
