ps4 reveal conference tonight: 8 gb ram 4x Dual-Core AMD64 AMD R10xx 160 gb hd controller has a little touch screen and a share button you're supposed to be able to watch people playing/streaming and maybe you'll be able to stream games to a mobile device

Xbox One was announced today along with Kinect 2.0 (betterfasterstronger). It's not backwards compatible with your 360 games or the XBL Arcade content. Anyone excited? I think I'll stick to fruit ninja for now.

nope nothing really exciting actually kind of a bummer about the backwards compatibility and that there's no clear answer for used games theres supposed to be an answer lateri generally buy new but the market will def be changed without the used games and what happens in a decade and you want an xbox one game? only thing they're offering me is a graphics upgrade and they're giving the option for developers to use cloud processing on their "azure" servers or whatever and they're probably not going to have those running in perpetuity... personally i was hoping they'd bust out some illumiroom shenanigans that blew my mind

i am excited about watch dogs and destiny and it kind of sounds like i'll just be playing them on the 360 actually i think destiny might be a good candidate for restarting regular 409 gaming night when it gets released

It seems to me that they're marketing it more as a media console than a gaming console with gaming being just one more facet of the experience. I think this is just going to push more of the gaming community away and perhaps be more appealing to non-gamers. This seems like a terrible decision considering that most TVs already have that one-stop media hub capability. I can watch netflix hulu browse the web all from my TV so why do I need Xbox One? I suppose if I get the gamer tag for some other chick I'll go ahead and buy the console so I don't miss out on that opporunity TWO times. :O Haha
