i played the first one back freshman year or so it seemed fun was busy with other games though i guess

my brother played it quite a bit i believe he enjoyed it. it's pretty darn accurate for all of the weapons like even the bullet casing spray of automatic weapons acts like the real thing :)

The game was more "real" than a lot of other shooters in that running jumping side-stepping etc. were slow and clumsy. I haven't played recently and I never played the sequel.
Some parts were fairly entertaining; if I had the time I might try out the new one.

Rock Band double bass update - this will be cheaper than the asshats selling their drum pedals on e-bay for $50 and it comes with a splitter (maybe even better than a splitter b/c with the current setup you have to pick up the first foot before the second hit will register perhaps their hardware will accomodate leaving one foot down while you step with the other.. we'll see) so i'll probably just buy one of these when it comes out
