Rock band 2 full set release for xbox 360 is October 19th. Cymbals are sold separately (so lame). Preorders come with a free t-shirt while supplies last. Everything is wireless and the buttons are quieter! Also the mic has buttons built in so you don't have to use the xbox controller anymore. Jacob already has the game and I think it's awesome. Only thing it lacks that GH4 will have is the ability to play 3 guitars (lead bass and rhythm) at the same time. Song selection is awesome as well. I will post back on the 20th and let you know what I think of the drum set.

after 1 day of playing RB 2 here's what i have to say about it:
pros: the graphics are so much better and the options for characters are significantly better. the tour mode has a cooler story line with more options. you can play a band tour with just one person which is good for me. and you can play bass as a world tour (couldn't do that in RB 1). the wireless drum set and guitars kick ass. the pads on the drums are really quiet and the buttons on the guitars are awesome. i was able to import all of my RB 1 songs into RB 2 and now have over 350 songs in my database for RB 2. Pretty kick ass. There are also drum and bass solos in some of the songs.
Cons: The mic that comes with the set is not the one that's wireless or has the controller buttons on it - that one you have to buy separately and costs $60. The cymbals do not come with the set and won't be out for over another month which i think is retarded. i am a little disappointed with the song selection but i think that may be because i played rock band 1 with all my downloaded songs for so long and compare the RB 2 songs to that which isn't fair.
all in all i am very pleased with #2 and will wait for the cymbals in nov. for the full effect.
