WRX is one of my high school dream cars.  4 wheels powering you past falling trees sucking up cold air through that huge schnoz. . .  not a bad choice.

currently winning bid @ $1025

If I dont end up with that jeep then I think i'll look at a slightly higher price range

looks like the jeep wasn't meant to be. I didn't want to go over 1200; it sold for just over 1500.

Test drove some stuff today. Didn't stall anything out and I didn't make any grindy noises happen.

Next prospects: go sit in a Z3 to see if I like it; have Carmax transfer a $10k 2004 Mazda 3 from TN to Roswell to see if I like it; go test drive a Jetta (I tried to test one today but the freakin battery was dead.. would not recommend that dealership at all).

So it's looking like I'm going to end up with a 2005 Mazda3 S. Rachel and I are going to the dealership this evening and if all goes well we gonna buy it (with cash so no financing necessary. thanks for the tip though -- looks like 2.94% is where it's at right now).

High five indeed!  Now if matt drives to parties I can't DD on the way home.  Unless you have the urge to replace your transmission. :D
